It’s been a dozen years since my family has been living in our house, and its true to say that some of the interiors are in serious need for some TLC.
Unfortunately it would seem that both the bathroom and kitchen have reached the point of no return and now a total revamp is probably going to be required.
The question is where is the best place to start? At the moment there appears to be a vast amount of kitchens and bathrooms available. Should you just go for the wow factor, maybe choose a traditional theme, or perhaps go for a modern style?
Currently some of our local DIY shops are offering great deals on their kitchens and bathrooms, but is buying at the local DIY store always the best decision?
Maybe you might be best suited buying direct from a specialist company. At the moment it would appear that a lot of the larger companies have some absolutely great deals on offer. If you want you can choose Interest Free payments over a 2 year period, maybe you could get all of your electrical appliances thrown into the deal for the kitchen. With the current economic market, the choice is yours and if you shop around you will be able to play one company against another, ensuring you get the best deals possible.
Please bear in mind that even though you may seem to be getting an absolute bargain, these companies are still making a profit out of you. Why not push that little bit harder to see how far they will drop their prices, you have nothing to loose by trying.
Another important consideration when revamping any room is accessories. Ethical kitchen accessories can make or break a room. They have to enhance the room and blend in with the style you have chosen for your kitchen. The bathroom is a bit of a simpler room to decorate. Bathroom accessories are pretty easy to mix and match or change periodically.
The problem we will have is by decorating both the kitchen and bathroom our lounge is going to look a bit old and tired. Probably we could just invest in some ethical homeware. Having these would certainly brighten up the room and would not have to cost a fortune. With all this going on at home, it looks like it is going to be a busy couple of months ahead.
